From her atelier in the Basque region of southwest France, British goldsmith Sally handcrafts fine jewellery in silver and gold. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings, she blends traditional techniques with vibrant gemstones to create timeless, wearable pieces with a distinctive touch.
Inspired by nature
Sally finds inspiration in many forms, but it always begins with the metal. Working at the bench is a process of exploration — each piece evolves through hands-on experimentation, guided by intuition and craft. Textures, whether drawn from nature or the built environment, are a constant influence, often captured and translated into metal. The raw beauty of silver and gold, combined with the endless possibilities offered by gemstones, brings a sense of excitement to every design. Simplicity, when it serves the piece, is embraced as a striking element — allowing form, material, and detail to speak clearly.

After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2001, Sally’s path led her through diverse cultures and creative experiences. A later move to the south of France marked a new chapter—one that included a rewarding detour into corporate life before she returned fully to her creative roots.

Each pair begins with two small gold nuggets, they are carefully hand-hammered and formed, making every set beautifully unique.
The earrings feature natural, irregular edges that are gently burnished to catch the light, contrasting with the softly domed interior finished in a matte brushed polish. Subtle, tactile, and understated.
Designed for everyday wear, these studs are lightweight and comfortable enough to sleep in.
